Holidays In Your Hometown

Mid semester break: it should have been an opportunity to catch up on uni work and finally, properly sink into Sydney. Instead I decided to play at being a tourist in the coastal town where I grew up, and it was the strangest kind of fun. Going out for breakfast, taking long walks on the beach, playing frisbee, reading in the sun, listening to The Waifs, lighting campfires, taking photographs… creating memories is weirdly evocative in a place which is already full of them.
